I know. Never seen a losing team get credited as if they actually won. They top the list. :confusedshrug:

fine...but 2014 team could be top 3 ever the way they destroyed the 2 time champs.

Meh, that Heat team was a shell of it's former self. That was a good Spur's team though. Not sure about top 3, but probably top 10.

2000 Lakers? How about 2007 Spurs?

faced the Nuggets with a young Melo, Suns with Amare & Diaw getting suspended for no reason and Horry hip check (Suns deserved to win that series) and Jazz with young D-Will & Boozer

Finals a very raw Lebron and bunch of scrubs with Mike Brown as coach

2007 Spurs should definitely be a top 3. If you look at that 2007 Cavaliers team there's no way they should've been in the Finals with any competent basketball fan looking from outside the box.

Pretty solid list, although I would replace the 2000 Lakers with the 2002 Lakers, as we all know who the real Champions should have been that year. :facepalm
It's pretty funny how every team that beats Kobe in the Finals gets hyped up as an all time great team.

2000 WCF was rigged too.

Obviously didn't watch the Kings series nor the WCF. Biggest game of that Playoff run was Game 7 WCF, Kobe led the team in points, rebounds, assists and blocks while Shaq had 18 points & 9 rebounds, but it was all Shaq.

I said with a bit of Kobe. 2000 Shaq is the most dominant player in history.

Next season Kobe and Shaq were 1a and 1b but in 200 it was 95% Shaq

Yet you disregard the fact that Kobe had the biggest games/moments of that Playoff run with Game 7 WCF and Game 4 Finals OT, also a Game-winner against the Suns

Why use the Cavs as a measuring stick for the Spurs though? Yeah, the Cavs sucked, but Spurs vs Suns was the de facto Championship series that year.

I don't think you know the meaning of "overrated"...

How can the 2 below ones be overrated, when it's acknowledged the 2011 Mavericks mainly won because LeBron's brain cramp and the 2006 Heat get accused of winning due to Wade's free throw fest?

The 03 team doesn't even compare to the 07 team.

Just because the 07 competition was the weakest, that doesn't mean the team is too.

2002 Lakers deserve an asterisk . Basically the King's championship.

2009 Lakers were just as bad too. Worst competition of any title team in the past decade. Garnett injured. Needed seven games to beat a Yao-less Rockets team led by Aaron Brooks. Played a Nuggets team led by two chuckers in Melo and Jr Smith. In the Finals, they played an injured Magic team who's best weapon on offense was Hedo Turkoglu :oldlol: .

Um, no, they didn't.

They were suspended for ONE game for leaving the bench area during an altercation. What are the excuses for losing the other 3 games? Spurs took control of that series in the very first game, IN Phoenix, long before any altercation even took place. Suns had everybody back from suspension for game 6 while Robert Horry was still suspended. What's the excuse for not getting it done in that game while the Spurs were still short-handed?

Hilarious. SOOOOO many people were fooled by the sports media into thinking the fun-n-gun Suns were going to run through everybody that year after Dallas was eliminated. And as usual, the Spurs flew under everybody's radar. I always have to laugh when I hear the excuses for that series. I always know it's someone who was caught overlooking the Spurs.

Suns lost game 1 at home, and had a chance to tie up the series 3-3 in game 6 while the Spurs were without Horry, but still couldn't get it done. If they win that game, they go back home for a game 7 and probably win the series. But even short-handed, the Spurs went out and took care of business. So no, Suns didn't deserve anything.

This post is complete bullshit. The Suns were missing their second best player, who was averaging 26 & 11 in the series, in a 6 point loss in Game 5. If you don't think Stoudemire's suspension affected that series you're just not being honest

So again, I'll ask. What's the excuse for losing the other three games when Stoudamire wasn't suspended? Like game 1 at home? Game 6 was a golden opportunity for them. Suns had all their players back, but Spurs were still playing short-handed. That suspension affected ONE game in the entire series. Period. And the Suns still had their chances after they got Stoudamire back, but still couldn't get it done.

Affected the entire series my ass. That's just the popular excuse for people who fell for the Suns media hype while the Spurs flew under everybody's radar.

I never said it affected the WHOLE series, you're right, it affected one game. But to act as if Stoudemire's suspension in Game 5 didn't affect the series at all is where you're simply incorrect. If the Suns have Amare for Game 5 that series, and the rest of the playoffs, could easily have gone another way
