MAJOR weight loss ... I'm telling you he looks radically different yesterday. Trying to get that quickness, first step off the dribble, and explosion back. Also endurance. Much needed.

Maybe he won't cramp up in a close finals game and sit out the final 8 minutes of an elimination game in the playoffs now :applause: :applause:

He didn't lose any weight, he just isn't carrying D-Wade on his back anymore.

I think this is a good thing for the most part.

The only reason for perimeter players to put on muscle to the extreme is if they're playing in the post.

LeBron does play in the post, but he clearly does not prefer it.

Thus I think it's a good move for him. We'll see.

Well, you doubt that because you're ignorant of the facts. It's ok though. Most people are.

Back to the topic I really think this is a placebo effect, lebron's arms look the same tbh

i guess people hear that he's losing weight and automatically force themselves to believe he looks much smaller on every recent pic

trust me you can find pics where lebron looks smaller just in the past year alone

looks like he might've lost 10lbs, most is probably water weight from his low-carb diet. don't know why you guys are freaking out so much.

Lebron has been carrying a ton of weight. Windhorst was on the B.S. Report talking about it and said he heard from folks in the Miami camp that he was up in the 280 range at one point.

Good for him to slim down as he gets older.

No way ... exaggerations.

But he was heavy. 250 - 260. He should get down to 240.

I'm certain it was an exaggeration, but the point is that the perception was he was way huge and above the listed 250 they had him at.

Thomas Robinson is 238 lbs and he looked way smaller than Lebron in the Portland vs Miami game.

Didn't he have surgery recently to get a tumor removed from his jaw? That could explain the weight loss since he's probably been having to watch what he eats for a month or so

Probably not a bad idea. He was 265-270 from '09-'14, and flat out overpowering , especially when he really had the post game in 2013 and 2014, but he'll be 30 in December, so dropping some weight may help longevity. He'll still be stronger than most players around his size, and better conditioned even if he's down to 255 or so. Think Kobe in '08. Kobe was never as big as Lebron, but bulked up 225 Kobe in 2003 was a beast, however, he had knee problems after that great season, but even though Kobe dropped down to 200-205 in 2008, he wasn't weak by any stretch. He was wiry strong, could still post up almost any guard when he wanted, and got some athleticism back. Was looking pretty close to his 3peat athleticism.

Well it was really that German knee he did... because his knee was shot even after he lost weight and I think that was in 07-08 when he decided that he didn't want to play at 220 or whatever he was at anymore and dropped down to 205. But there is no doubt that the joints, tendons, bones, basically everything feels the relief of not carrying as much weight. Based on Lebron's body type, I don't see why he should be carrying any more than 240. He doesn't have a particularly thick build, just a solid one.

Lebron and Millertime reunited

Probably not a bad idea to loose a couple of pounds. You could tell that he had slowed down a little bit. It also means less stress for his body/joints etc.

Lebron was already 245 at the pre-draft camp in '03 when he was 18. He's obviously much more muscular than he was back then, and most fill out after 18, so 240 really isn't ideal or realistic, imo.

His arm just isn't pumped. You're used to seeing him mid-game and blood flowing. He's relaxed in the pic.

The one thing imo that is holding Lebron back from being an all time great is a lethal go-to post game. MJ had one and it was devastating mixed in with his fadeaway. If Lebron is going back to being a spot up shooter...okay then, but his shot is not gonna make him a top 5 guy.
