It is a shame injuries took away his early athleticism, but he managed to remain an effective player well into his 30's. I still think the Spurs would have won but it definitely would have been interesting to see the 99' Knicks in the Finals with Ewing.

I did not watch those finals but i think this version would have given them more problems on d.

wow if the Knicks management surrounded Ewing with a second option, or even if they didnt trade away Mark Jackson, Ewing would have atleast one ring on his finger, OH WELL :(

That 95' team probably wouldn't have gotten past the Magic anyway. Or the Rockets.

They still would have had to beat Indiana in OT also.

Where Ewing really missed out on his ring was the 94' Finals. If he hadn't been so anemic offensively, there wouldn't have been a Starks brickfest in game 7. There wouldn't have been a game 7, the Knicks would have won. But Ewing shot awful.
