Well Kobe was in a better situation at first. He played for the Lakers who was able to bring prime Shaq to them. After winning 3 titles (which Kobe was huge factor in winning don't get me wrong), he proved that he could win as the man with 2 more titles. LeBron was in Cleveland for 7 years and his best player was Mo Williams. He went to Miami for 4 years, but only he won 2 titles because of his huge choke in 2011. While Kobe was in a better situation earlier in his career, he's still been more successful atm.

The answer is that basketball is a team game. Teams win games, not players.

One of them has been on stacked teams every year of his career, while the other has carried absolute trash for 95 percent of his career.
I'll take the guy who doesn't need the most stacked front court in the league to win. :lol

Lebron did choke in 2011 doe. That makes them all even:confusedshrug:

You do know that Kobe's Lakers were swept by that same Mavs team in 2011 right? :facepalm
And Kobe put up back to back 17 point performances in games 3 and 4, so in reality he did choke the series away.

i think he was just injured and old at that point. Look at him in 2012 and 2013 after he went to Germany.

In Games 3-5 of the 2011 Finals, LeBron put up 17, 8, 17 on a combined 39% shooting, all in extremely competitive games, two of which the Heat lost

Gasol has more All-NBA selections, a much more legit accolade than the all-star game, a game Kobe made playing 6 ****ing games last year

You do realize Kobe & Wade play in different conferences, so that wouldn't matter, and don't try to dodge your BS that Gasol is any better than Bosh, they're equals at worst

Yea, I edited lol.

In all seriousness they are equal , but Wade was a top 3 wing player the year they Teamed up. Which certainly tips the scale.

People can cry about Gasol or Shaq all they want. Can you imagine if Kobe got to play with prime Tmac AND the likes of KG? it'd be a ****ing wash and Bean would never live it down in the eyes of the haters.

People would pick at everything he's ever done on the basketball court, but Bron gets a pass? **** that, on top of it all he found a way to do it again.

I never defended Lebron's performance. :wtf:
I was merely calling that other poster out who said that Kobe didn't choke against the Mavs in 2011, when he clearly did. Just cause Lebron was shit against Dallas doesn't mean that Kobe gets a pass for his poor playoff performance against them.

I wouldn't go that far, Bosh isn't even in the stratosphere of prime KG, you replace him with the likes of a Brand/Randolph/Jermaine O'Neal and have T-Mac/Pierce/Carmelo as well, that'd be a more realistic example

Fatigue from carrying a Team to three straight Finals must have nothing to do with it, huh?

Only person who choked against the Mavs was Lebron James. We just got beat plain and simple.

Did you seriously just compare Bosh to KG? :biggums: :facepalm
Bosh and Gasol are not equal at all. The only thing they have in common is that they are both soft. When Bosh's jumper isn't falling he becomes completely useless, whereas if Gasol's jump shot isn't falling he can still hurt teams with his rebounding, post up skills, and elite passing.

I'll give you Brand , but Bosh is wayy better than O'neal and Zbo, the KG thing was more for comparison sake anyway. K.Love will be closer to the KG range than Bosh, so again this ***** hasn't won shit without the most stacked cores of all time, **** Teams. You can put anyone around a solid three and they'll ball out.

Regardless , it's the same difference. A Team of a Top 5 forward , arguable second best SG and the best player in the game is beyond hax and it's not even close.

:oldlol: Yea, buddy , try tuning into Heat games post Lebron , you'll be surprised how good Bosh actually is in the post. You really think he had that Jumper in Toronto? Lol. Bosh is also a better defender than Gasol.

I'll take Bosh's D and long ball over Gasol's half ass play anyday.

lmao sometimes I wonder about the IQ of the people here

Kobe: needs 7 finals just to lead his team to a championship 2 times (1 was questionable as the consensus is that Gasol was the 2010 FMVP)

LeBron: Led his team to a championship 2 times in his first 4 finals.

Its LeBron and its not even close tbh
