Jordan in '91?

I'm sure there are other similar instances.

Pau has a gold medal.

Jordan won his first ring without an all-star teammate.

You just lost.

Oh wait Pau only has a FIBA gold who carried Kobe to rings.

However Kobe was beaten by Manu several times who has a NBA gold medal. No shame in being the second best SG of the 2000s though.

what's an NBA gold medal?

I think it's time for you to stop posting for now. You are making too many rookie mistakes.

This thread. :facepalm

First you have the guy who said that Pau won an Olypmpic gold medal. :facepalm Then he tries to backtrack by saying Pau won an NBA gold medal. :facepalm Finally he finishes it up with lame insults about how Pau carried Kobe to 2 rings. :facepalm

Then you got people saying "Jordan in 91! Hakeem in 94!" when the OP clear states "LAST to win a ring w/o an olympic gold medalist teammate" :facepalm

Reading comprehension and intelligence have perished this day. All just to hate on Kobe. :kobe:

yall act like pau wouldn't win a gold medal with team usa.

Also phil counts as 2 gold medalist just because of how great he is.

Could there possibly be any more random criterion for assessing the impressiveness of a championship?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in '91 when the Bulls won the title, not a single player on the team had an Olympic gold. Jordan and Pippen were on the '92 Dream Team. Obviously a technicality, but still.

And OP was clear about "last" to win a title w/o.. but went on to say "since the Bad Boy Pistons". So I, and others, stated instances where other players have done the same, since the BBP.

Fair enough. Not like the OP is some genius either; didn't even follow the rules of his own thread. :kobe:
