I don't think anyone else in history had the ability to attract players like Lebron James. Whether it's in Miami or coming back to Cleveland, players are all willing to take a lower salary to play with Lebron.

Lebron = GOAT recruiter

Nah, Miami / Riley / Wade recruited him. Mike Miller went to MIA because of James. Ray Allen did the same in 2013, might be following him to Cleveland. At this point it's really players who just want to play with him. I don't think he's beating down doors for teammates.

He's an attractive teammate to play with, i'm not sure he's a great recruiter in the sense that he is a good salesman or something.

Like he probably didn't have to say anything at all really to Mike Miller and James Jones. They like playing with him, so they followed him to Cleveland.

Yeah I don't think he is doing any, or at least much, "recruitment." He is just a player who many others want to play with--even if that means taking a pay cut. I am not aware of any other player who had so much players willing to follow him wherever he goes, even at financial cost to them. Does anyone else in history come close? LeBron must be a great teammate.

I think it's more about Lebron James' ability paired with his unselfishness.

LBJ was the best player during their 4 year run with 2 reg season MVPs and 2 Finals MVps

Lebron floppin teams when he lose.

So why didn't LBJ leave in 2011 after they lost to the Mavs? Oh, that's right,he only left now because his contract was up. It had nothing do with losing, he was always going to leave. Article From 2 years ago

Lebron also lost 3 finals

what does that have to do with, as you put it "ring chasing". When he lost his 1st finals he stayed on the cavs for 3 more season and left when his contract ended. When he lost his first finals with heat, he stayed for 3 more seasons and left when his contract ended. There is no ring chasing going on. He was always just a rental for the Heat:lol
