Last season
Kyrie 21.3ppg, 1.6 steal, 6.2 ast
Kevin Love 26.1ppg 12.5 Rb, 4.4 ast

Kyrie is arguably a TOP 5 PG in the league right now and Kevin Love is arguably TOp 5 PF in the league as well

Before the "playoff virgin" and empty stats argument, let's go back to Bosh Toronto days as he hadn't accomplished much either but putting up good stats

Defensive IQ usually doesn't show up in box scores.

Wade and Bosh are better defensive players, but Irving and Love can still improve their defense.

I think Love and Irving are hungrier and more motivated to succeed next season because they haven't play a single game in the playoffs.

strong offense anyday of the week over a bit better than average defense (wade and bosh currently)

Dion Waiters (15.9 PPG, 3.0 APG, 2.8 RPG)

Forgot to add Waiters

I didn't know Bosh was such a defensive anchor... I thought Bosh couldn't defend for sh*T when EVERYONE BASHED the fk outta him during playoff, now y'all talking about defense?

Ya this will be Cleveland's biggest struggle. Lebron gonna be yelling at everyone.

So yeah Wade + Bosh > Irving + Love

LeBron/Irving/Love is a better "fit". 3 very different players. LeBron/Wade/Bosh had a good bit of redundancy.

Exactly he could not guard Centers was decent against PF's but Love will not be guarding Centers and is a better Rebounder than Bosh.

Well right now I would rather have Love over Bosh and Irving over Wade. Love is better than Bosh and Iriving is younger and Healthier and a better Fit next to Lebron over Wade.

why do you all think Lebron gone back to Cavs?

All part of Bran's plan. He wouldn't come back unless he knew the roster was relatively stacked.

He just ditched his older big 3 for a younger one.

Wait, I thought this thread meant prime Wade and Bosh

If not, of course I'm taking Love and Irving

Bosh was never a defensive anchor but he plays his role almost to perfection. His ability to switch on the perimeter or hedge on a pick-and-roll and recover is absolutely beautiful to watch sometimes. Plus he protects the basket and avoids fouls. His one-on-one on the block is just average, but you really can't expect more from a player of his frame. Near elite defensive IQ but limited against bigger players who like to bang.

Minny is my home team and I know K-Love isn't the defender Bosh is. He sacrifices help defense and closing out on his shooter for rebound positioning way too much. Tyson Chandler doesn't say "He can't play D" in public for no reason. K-Love is a better 3 point shooter though and at least he'd fight for those offensive boards.

In 2014 this goes without saying. The real argument is with the 2010 version of the Big 3.

not if wade is healthy but I would take hobbled Wade over Kyrie. Love is better than Bosh though overall but not on defense.
