As we all know the last few years haven't been good for the cavs. They didn't even win 20 games in 2011. They were never in the playoffs in the last 4 years
due to issue like bad management, chemistry issues, ball hogging

Due to this incompetency and mediocreness of this team, if LeBron can arrive and straight away lead this disfunctional situation to the playoffs after their drought, is he the automatic MVP for doing the impossible?

Depends. The Thunder will have about 60 wins and Durant will but up 28/8/5 with Westbrook back, so Lebron has to put up better stats and/or better record.

Cavs would need to win 60+ for Lebron to get the MVP, and with Love they have a good shot at doing just that.

I don't think it matters very much what Lebron's stats are, as long as he is the undisputed leader, and he steps up his defense compared to last year.

Team is too stacked for Bran to win MVP.

win MVP?

He wont be the reason, hel be a big part of the reason

they added top 2 player in the NBA plus top 4 PF in the league. Adding shooters and pieces as well. Stacked squad once again

I have a feeling he and Love will split the vote.

Actually, I think Love has a good chance of winning MVP within the next 5 years "if" LeBron declines.

Kyrie won as many awards as Bran last year.

Stacked isn't the word.

in a tough eastern conference, on a new team with rookies and role players, which last year didn't make the playoffs? I say yes.

The 9th seed in the West would have been the third seed in the East.

The commissioner went on national TV and said the East sucks.

LeBron gets exposed against Western teams.

2/5 is the stat i think.

If he gets this pathetic franchise to the playoffs of course he is MVP. If he leads them to 60 wins he becomes top 5 all time. A Championship and he is top 2 all time, with a strong case for top 1.

I won't even get into the role player comment, but please name these rookies. I'll be waiting (forever).
