knicks would of had at least 4, especially if starks didn't choke in 94:facepalm I was 8 years old and was actually crying that night when starks gave our ring away to tha fake dream:cry:

I'm going with the Jazz. From 1990-2000, they didn't miss a single year of the playoffs and won 50+ games 8/10 times in the decade. (98-99 season was a lockout season. Jazz finished with a win % of .740, which means they could've won about 60 if the season didn't have that lockout). Not to mention, they also managed to get to the NBA finals 2 times in a row.

The 1996-1998 Jazz, easily. None of those teams had a three year run comparable to the Jazz's: 55, 64, and 62 wins along with 2 trips to the Finals and 3 WCF's. The Jazz actually made 4 WCF's in 5 years (1994-1998) and 5 in 7 (1992-1998). Their win totals were impressive as well. From 1990-2000 they won 55+ most years: 55, 54, 55, 47, 53, 60, 55, 64, 62, 61 (win pace over 82 games), and 55. They were the second best team for the entirety of the 90's and third best team if you give extra weight to Houston's 2 rings.

Jazz
Suns
Blazers
Pacers
Sonics
Knicks

Harder to separate these teams than I thought it was going to be.

First thought had the Pacers and Knicks higher. BTW I'm not sure Houston was better than some of those teams they were just fortune to play when thing open up a bit.

97-98 Jazz are just as good as 94-95 Rockets if not better
Think the 96 Sonics could take those teams as well

Starks was your best player in that series despite a dismal Game 7. Ewing shot 36% in the Finals--completely getting outplayed by Hakeem. Besides, the Knicks shouldn't have been in the Finals that year anyway. :D

The late 90's Heat should be among some of the others mentioned. With Zo taking multiple DPOYs.

Tim Hardaway
Voshon Leonard
Mashburn
PJ brown
Zo

Solid especially in 96 before running into Bulls. I know people like to pretend Miami didn't exist before Lebron...

No he isn't. Hakeem flat-out outplayed Ewing in the '94 Finals and was the better player. You can look at the stats

The Jazz.

Knicks getting overrated as usual. If Jordan and the Bulls weren't beating the Knicks all the time, the Knicks rarely had championship caliber teams anyway. The 92' team is unlikely to beat Cleveland and then Portland. Maybe the 93' Knicks beat the Suns. The 94' Knicks had their chance, Ewing choked just as badly, if not worse. than Starks. There wouldn't have been a game 7 in the first place if Ewing didn't have more bricks than the Queensbridge project buildings. They lost games 3 and 6 by the closest of margins. Games in which Ewing couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

The 95' Knicks weren't getting past the Magic nor the Rockets
