Irving was drafted by Cleveland and signed to a max 5 year extension this summer. Lebron, who left the franchise on bad terms 4 years ago in free agency, is currently on a 1 year guaranteed deal with the option to opt out after the first season.

Who will be the man on this Cavs team? Whose team is it? Kyrie Irving or Lebron's? Discuss.

Even Kyrie Irving would tell you that it's LeBron's team...

As much as I hate how the NBA/media is pushing for players' individualism (rather than the sport as a team/organistion concept), I think we're all witnesses to how LeBron impacted not just the NBA's free agency, but the league as a whole.

Not only is the Cavs LeBron's team, the whole current NBA is a LeBron's league.

of course its kyrie irving. i mean, he's kyrie ****ing irving. can anyone take the spotlight away from uncle drew? no! i think not.

best player in the world? who the **** cares about that? as long as you got a top 7 PG, you're all set. **** that other guy.

contracts? kyrie has a longer contract than james? but who was trades? obviously that is the best kept secret in the nba since no one know how to unload a contract and if a player signs a long term contract, you are STUCK with it for the length of it.

It does suck in a way for Kyrie. Before LeQuit came back, he was the lead in the story to win in Cleveland.

Now everything is about LeQuit. He's now a roleplayer in LeQuit's story.

Same with Cleveland really. Before their story was about them overcoming their history. Now the media will make it just about LeQuit and what he does for them.

Real talk?

Dan Gilbert is going to suit up, kick Lebron off the team, and prove even he can win with this stacked cast.

LeBron for 3 quarters.

Irving in 4th.

We all know of LeBron's struggles in the 4th quarter. Irving is statistically a top 5 clutchest player in <5 minutes in all 3 of his seasons in the league.

Is Alonzo Gee still on the roster?

Yep, Kyrie was leading them to almost making it in the playoffs year after year. This sucks for him. :(

He's super young and has a long time to mature, and his fate was his to determine. Not anymore though. Now he is just a bit a bit player in LeQuit's storyline. LeQuit's media homers will make sure it is so.
