Scottie Pippen according to draftexpress is 6-7 and 1/2 without shoes (though it's based on an old newspaper... I've heard 6-6 and 1/2 from another source so it may actually be an "in shoes height" in the wrong category.

Carmelo Anthony measured 6-6 and 1/4 without shoes in the draft. So there is no mystery to be had here. One guy measured 1/4 to one inch and 1/4 shorter than the other.

Also Pippen's wingspan was 7 feet to 7 feet 1 inches (depending on the source) for those that are curious. Melo's is 7 feet.

Man thanks for this thread. After watching his whole career, I often wondered if he was 6'7" or 6'8" or 6'7.23" or 6'7.77" but now we know he was at least 6'8". Thanks man.

Nah, I've seen that wingspan poster or whatever you want to call it before. I mean eyes don't lie and this has it all sort out. 6'7", 6'8" with an ridiculous 7'3" wingspan. Only being long doesn't mean you can ball, but Scottie had a genius basketball IQ and was a great baller and basically put that length to being the greatest defensive player not a PF/C. :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: How great is our God?

Pip is about 1 inch or so taller than Melo who is 6'6.25".

That 6'6.5" measurement from the 92 olympics doesn't make sense to me, as he is certainly not 1 inch shorter than Magic Johnson. He's the same height as Magic, if not a hair taller.

So Pip is definitively around the 6'7.5" mark (Huge 7'3"-7'4" wingspan).

Here he is next to 6'5.5" Clyde Drexler and 6'6.5"-6'6.75" Glen Rice; he clearly has about 2 inches on Clyde (give or take a little)

Here, clearly edging MJ (6'4.75"- 6'4.88") by more than 2 inches...even though Pip has his head tilted downwards and MJ is not 100% straight up, the much bigger physical presence of Pippen is really noticeable.

That measurement still doesn't sound right to me, because on the court he often looked taller than 6'6.5" 6'6.75" guys (6'8"in shoes) like Glen Rice, Chucky Brown, Richard Dumas, Steve Smith, Cliff Levingston.
