Yes. Mid-range game in particular. All the focus is on high percentage lay-ins and 3 point shots.



Statistically, it makes sense. But in practice, your 1st/2nd options NEED to have a solid mid-range game. When games are close and defense is tight, players that can create their own shots from anywhere on the court is of vital importance.
