His rookie year as a bench player? All those seasons where he was surrounded by absolute SHIT? Maybe one of the seasons where he had freak injuries that kept him on the bench? Or maybe last year where he nearly dragged a team of scrubs to the playoffs in a brutal west?

Go back through the twolves rosters on bball ref and tell me which season the playoffs were even a possibility for Love? This just in...HE'S NOT LARRY BIRD.

Last season he was playing with perimeter players who couldn't shoot (outside of Kmart who can't do anything else). Pekovic wasn't the center to cover Love's one weakness which is D on quick forwards (same weakness that plagued Dirk). They STILL had a great average point margin, and just happened to lose a bunch of close games and went to more OT's than any team in the west.

If you've actually been paying attention, Love is really ****ing good. He's never played on a team designed to maximize his skills. He's never played with another player of his caliber. He's an off ball player who has been forced to be a first option.

Not only was his on court situation SHIT, his front office and coaches have constantly underestimated and belittled him. His first two seasons they weren't even sure he was going to be good and didn't want him to shoot 3's! Then he blows up and they won't even offer him the 5-year max! :biggums:
