I'm not saying that KG is better than West, Doc or Baylor, but I truly don't think a single person that has voted for those 3 has watched them play. And of those that voted, maybe 10% have an informed opinion. I'd wager that most just spewed out that name, because it's an all-time great name.

That being said, I'm one of those people. But I almost refuse to rank them for that reason. I can't do so accurately. So I rank KG ahead of them, then rank West, Baylor Doc, Pettit and others pretty much as low as I can without embarrassing myself or tarnishing their legacies.

It's funny, 2-3 guys mention how underrated Elgin is and everyone follows.. Suddenly he should be ahead of KG/Dirk/Barkley/Malone.. kay

Think I'm going with him too, even though Elgin had a better peak/prime. Right now, to me, it's between Hondo, Baylor, KG and Malone.

Without thinking all THAt much...

Even though Baylor is going to win this thread, Dirk and KG are going to win very soon judging by the pattern of votes.
