Obvious choice for me. It'll be the former MVP.

compare the minutes played by teammates as well as team record

win share matters, win definitely then matters

The Bulls team shot about 110 more FTs than the opposing team that season
while the Warriors shot about close to 300 less than the opposing team

their assist/to rate in terms of team were as follow
Bulls 9th/17th
Warriors 7th/22nd

you switch the team record in a blind hypothesis test
and I wonder what people will say though

I just don't know if there's any simple formula to evaluate defensive impact

edit- since the goal of offense is to have single coverage, and the goal of defense is not to give out single coverage

By stats there is an argument for Curry. By reality it wasn't close. Until Curry shows leadership, resiliency, defense, total confidence, tenacity to keep coming at opponents every game, obsession with winning, there will be a certain distance between them.

In the fourth quarter of close games, Rose was the king of the hill. Against the elite, he was the king of the hill. In the stretch run he was the king of the hill. Very different than just not standing out.

Semi-trolling, because I'm not sure who I would pick still even if you're just taking that one year into account minus no injuries.

D-Rose was above averge defensively that season, so that Probally plays a factor

I'd take 2011 Rose.

Better slasher, better defender, higher usage-% and played more minutes for a better team. In the Bulls 62 wins, Rose made ~2 three's per game at .36%, which is solid. Definitely a clutch, stand out season from him, had lots of his fellow players or former players calling him MVP.

Rose (25 ppg of the slow paced Bulls 99 ppg) >>> Curry (24 ppg of the fast paced Warriors 104 ppg)
