Nice, slow motion - Bob Cousy in real-time looks like prime Magic the way he runs and sees the floor

maybe him as well as those earlier days Celtics played a role as a pioneer in figuring out the sport of basketball in movements without the ball.
where as Wilt and company more so figured out the skills and in relation as to what/how a player may best behave from any point on the court in regards with a straight line to the basket.

Lol everyone acts like players from the 50-80s are chop liver. It's called evolution of the game. Players pick up the little things as time goes by which then the later generation adopt. They're the pioneers to the game of basketball and we should all recgonize that. If you put they best player from each season without any basketball knowledge from watching or learning from the veterans, do you think they can could reach so called primes, hell no.

The funny thing is, I've hit some of my friends at the park with the same move in a game of 21. It works better than you'd expect

Bob Cousy is running the break better than anyone not named Magic Johnson. Some Pioneer. He had one protoge, the rest of the players who have ever played since have all failed to duplicate what he did, including all of you that could supposedly "beat him 1 on 1" :oldlol:

I'm pretty sure I could beat Bob Cousy one on one. No question.
The man is 86 years old. How can you NOT beat him?

The first case of "broken ankles" in NBA history. His ankles should be in the HOF.

Fun Fact: The NBA banned the use of one hand dribbling because Bob Cousy was so dominant at using it. That's why you don't see any players dribbling with only one hand today.

Haha, you got the sense Nick Nolte was just about ready to break character waiting for Cousy to miss.
Interesting connection, my dentist growing up Ken Haggerty started in the backcourt with Cousy on the '47 Holy Cross team that won the National Championship.
