5?

Pippen wouldn't score as much as Kobe, but is a GOAT complementary player.

He could take care of the perimeter for Shaq and will feed him the **** out of the ball.

Shaq's numbers would skyrocket imo.

At least 4, Pippen won't ball hog and will let Shaq do his thing. He does what he does best, being a sidekick. He is also a great defender. Need clutch shooters though, Shaq isn't clutch so is Pippen.

:facepalm

I meant what years are they playing, so we can get a sense of their competition. Is Pippen replacing Kobe on the 2000 Lakers? Is Shaq replacing Jordan on the 90s Bulls? Something else? This is the kind of context we need.

Shaq LeBron Jordan were the alphas

Kobe Wade Pippen were the sidekicks

Thats the difference between the 2 groups, clear distinction

Lebron 0 rings and 0 FMVPs without Wade
Wade 1 ring and FMVP without Lebron and almost 2 without Lebron in 2011 finals

0. Pip would leave after 1 season where the team got bounced in the first and spend his summer doing interviews about Shaq's "sorry fat butt" :lol

LeBron didn't win anything in Cleveland and had to jump ship to Miami for rings. Wade was a proven champion, what did Lebron do besides win some media MVP awards? Being swept in the finals in 2007? Get hammered by Dwight? Quit on the Celtics? You should know this first hand if you're an actual Cavs fan since 2001 but you're not. Bandwagoners will be bandwagoners just like cancer is cancer.

Given both are in their primes, surround them with a decent squad then we're set.

From 2000 onwards. 4-5 rings minimum.

With '91-'96 Pippen in place of Kobe on the '00-'04 Lakers, I'd say 2-3 titles. They'd win in 2000 and 2002, with an outside shot at '01 and '04.

Outside shot at 2001? Explain please.

For me,

I think 2000 and 2001 are a given. 2002 I'm not as sure- alot of close calls in that Kings series. 2004 I'm not as sure. I would say at least 2 championships.

Pippen wouldn't even be able to approach the monster series Kobe had against SA and Sac in 2001, which were needed.

at least 6 titles. 2 alphas on the same team isnt even fair.

pippen running the defense and offense (triangle) at its finest, with shaq being MDE. game. set. match.

1-2.
Pippen couldn't push Shaq the way Kobe did.

They win in 1998, 2000, 2001, 2004 and possibly also 2005 and 1997 too. Shaq had little help his in the playoffs before Kobe become elite. Pippen and Shaq would get along much better than Kobe and Shaq did and thus would remain together.
