View Full Version : Will Bran average 10 assists this season?
I think he has no excuses not to. Blatt's system plus Love, Kyrie, Waiters, Andy V, Tristan, Miller, and possibly Ray Allen.

He better not.

Closest he got was in 2010 when he averaged 29.7 ppg and 8.6 assists per game
Damn looking back, when was the last time someone averaged 30 and 9 assists a game? Oscar?

For what? Making the playoffs? I agree
But anything further than making the playoffs is too much for these role players + playoff virgins

An offensive system would deflate his assists, since there's going to be less ball dominance by any one player.
no pun intended

Nope.

Kyrie will be the best PG that Lebron has ever played with. He better not average 10 assists.

Not with Kyrie & Dion there

I predict he'll get 8.5 or more. I wouldn't be surprised if he got 10 assists though. Love is ideal considering he only needs a little space.

:biggums:
Lebron will average his usual 6-7 assist. Maybe 5 if Blatt forces the issue.

Kyrie is the best point guard he has ever played with. If anything, his assists should be worse.

James is not capable of 10 APG during the season without sacrificing a third of his scoring.
Besides, Blatt is a very good offensive coach, at least here in Europe, so expect him to put James more in the system to take some of the burden off of him. He has the young legs to put the weight on if they can stay healthy after all.

26/7/5 is my prediction on 50ish percent shooting.
For Kevin Love, 24/12/3
Kyrie- 21/4/7
Dion- 14/4/4
Varejo- idk 10/10/2?

Varejao may or may not start, depending on what other moves we make. I think we still have some trade pieces to try and bring in a decent low block center.
Ideally AV comes off the bench, playing some minutes at both the 4 and 5 spots. We def. need to keep him between 25-30 mpg at max.
I still think if this Love trade goes down we should be getting Dieng back.
Kyrie's PPG should also drop a bit from previous seasons, and his APG should go up.

There's no reason for him to average 10 assists on this team with so many other guys who can take playmaking responsibilities. LeBron would be wise to adapt his game at this stage of his career and not do nearly as much pounding of the ball.
He will be able to dominate the game in so many other ways. I'm not saying he should never take the role of playmaker, but it should be within the confines of Blatt's offense. And, Kyrie should be the team's primary ball-handler. Dion can also create off the dribble really well.

He averaged 9 assists a game while scoring 30 PPG.

I feel like Lebron's assists will actually be going DOWN because he's going to be playing more offball
Something along 31/7/6

Nope. 26/7/7 on 56%-58%. He's not gonna average 31 with Love, Irving, and Waiters.

MJ averaged 32.5 points and 8.0 assists.
Edit:
Search for 29/8 seasons shows MJ, Bron, Tiny, and the Big O.
