View Full Version : Will Kobe's thirst for a 6th ring push him to ask for a trade?

I think there's a possibility. Even though he's said "Laker for life" countless times, he does want that 6th ring.. bad. And I don't see the Lakers in even playoff contention these next 2 years.

with his poison contract? nobody will take him.
he's like the 53rd best player in the league. robin lopez has more value at this point.

I have a feeling he could end up on the Knicks pending approval from Vanessa.

This is the only plausible situation.

Perhaps, but he's not winning a ring with marshmelo and his low IQ companions.

If he did get to a point where he would demand to leave, they could amnesty him and he could sign elsewhere for the minimum while the lakers would still have to pay his salary. Good thing is it wouldn't count against the lakers cap either.
But yeah, I don't know anyone who would trade him at this point unless it was a bunch of salary dumps.

we could always have a role for a backup of our backup SG.
30 million for a 36 year old player coming off multiple injuries? Yeah, GMs are gonna be all over that

I would never want Kobe anywhere NEAR the Cavs
Can you imagine?
Would get carried to the finals, and the second the finals start would try and sabotage to be the alpha dog so he can pad his FMVP ratio :oldlol: (2/7)

LA has already used their amnesty on MWP. Can't use again.

Kobe would rather get to the finals than get bounced in the second round. That takes Cavs off the list.

No. Teams not competing for championships would take him for his name alone.
Name one team that could offset his salary with $25M of players
