Stop whining. I'm the OP and I don't even agree with the list, but it's a decent list IMO. People are voting and we are having a good discussion about it which is the entire point. It's not just to rank players, which is all subjective. It's also to discuss basketball and learn about the history of the game.

Simple. Once KG got in people decided that all power forwards ever compared have to be in at the same time....since their constant comparison makes it clear they should be close. Totally ignoring that two players being compared doesnt have anything to do with the tens of thousands of other players who have played.

KG and Dirk or Karl and Barkley being compared all the time gives no legitimacy to them being back to back in a list of many players at different positions.

But there are those who even if they have A and B ahead of B and C....once C gets in they must have D....regardless of thinking A and B should be ahead.

Which is why I dont waste my votes.

Probably yes to both, though I am high on Stockton.
