30,5,5 doesnt mean anything

heck Durant led the league in that but it didnt stop him from choking for 3 rounds, and having the highest Player Efficiency Drop for any MVP from the regular season to the Playoffs

08-11-2014, 06:19 PM
Damn, I was just looking through some of those performances on that list...

Durant vs the Timberwolves had a game last year where he put up 48/7/7 (with just 3 turnovers) and hit a gamewinner....

Kevin Love will be dropping triple dubs like nothing this season.

Kyrie will also break through as a top 4 pg.

Lebron will continue to be the best player in the world +FMVP after getting his revenge against the spurs

Easily.

How crazy is it that LeBron's had probably 5 of the most stacked teams of all time in consecutive years? 2011-2014 Heat, 2015 Cavs? He should easily be getting it done.

Optimus Prime
08-11-2014, 06:40 PM
Come on now. To call those Heat teams or this potential Cavs team "most stacked team of all time"? Ridiculous. :facepalm

Comparing them to the Showtime Lakers? Shaq/Kobe Lakers? Bird Celtics? Russell Celtics? Jordan Bulls? The list goes on and on.

Irving/Waiters/Marion/Love/Varejao would have been one of the top 2 teams in the East, no doubt, but DYNASTY level WITHOUT LeBron...?

I don't know about that one man... you're crazy...

Come on man, their THIRD best player has a case for being about as good as your FIRST best player...

They are just too stacked man... We saw this happen in 2011 with the Heat vs the Bulls but that Heat squad wasn't anywhere near as deep as this Cavs squad is...

Who cares? Once Harden go ton a team where he wasn't coached by a waste of life, we saw what he was really capable of. The Thunder had the most talented team of all time.

It's not like K-Love will be putting up as many 30-5-5 games as the 2nd option.

Dwyane Wade had only 1 ... a randy foye type player at this point in his career.

Meanwhile, Kyrie had 4 with great clutch moments and is only gonna get better.

I've seen the mighty fall before...

Individually, they are great names and great players. Collectively? Who knows.

I'm done with talking about my team until the season unfolds.

Don't say I didn't tell y'all what's cookin with the Bulls. They will be ready

Pretty much.... I don't see why people have such a hard time accepting it either.

"Oh no, he's calling the team with LeBron, Irving, Love, Waiters, Varejao, Marion, Miller, and Allen stacked again!!! He must be stopped!"

So in 2011 the Thunder were holding back 12 PPG "Superstar" James Harden who would have been top five in 30-5-5 games if not for his "horrible" situation that year.

Glad we clarified that.

Every team LeBron is on these days is called the "most stacked team of all-time." So what about Miami? They replaced LeBron with an all-star SF so surely they will only go from the most stacked team in history to still being stacked with 2 superstars and 3 all-stars?

Yet now we find "stacked" Miami being projected by experts to go 44-38 and finish 6th in the weak East.

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11334160/2014-summer-forecast-east-standings

The Heat were indeed stacked--but they were one of several stacked teams in their own era, let alone being an unprecedentedly stacked team.

okc is more stacked. They have the MVP, best point guard, best pf, defensive juggernaut, rookie already declared a HOF, top 3 6th man of the year, sniper, great vets presence. WOW that truly is stacked. To top it off they have had numerous years to mesh and understand each other. If they can't get it done its an epic choke.

Miami no longer has LeBron, Allen, or Battier. In addition they are getting much older than they were four years ago. Their decline can be attributed to much more than just LeBron leaving.

Miami lost 1 All star SF and got 2!!! (Deng, Granger)

Plus McRoberts to help out on Rebounds and defense!

They are way more stacked now

If not then you admit LeBron makes any team stacked

What did those players do last year? Allen put up 10/3/2 and Battier 4/2/1. McRoberts, Granger and Napier will more than make up for losing Allen and Battier. The fact is Miami's roster from players 2-12 is better now than it was last year. They went 54-28 (while coasting) and made the Finals. Yet they are projected to slip to 44-38 and 6th place (which suggests a first round exit) due to the fall off from LeBron to an all-star, albeit not superstar, SF in Deng? They couldn't have been as stacked as people claimed if this degree of a decline will occur.

If not then you admit LeBron makes any team stacked

That is the implication inadvertently made by his biggest detractors. :lol
