Why did Jesse think Walt poisoned the little boy if it was proven that the boy was poisoned with the flower and NOT ricin?

the doctors told jesse themself "the boy was poisoned with the lilly flower" or whatever...

jesse had no proof that walt poisoned the boy :wtf:

If you required help to figure it out, then it clearly isn't a plot hole. Just something you didn't quite understand.

Jesse initially suspected that Saul had his fatass bodyguard steal the ricin cigarette when he frisked him, and of course Walt to be the mastermind behind it.

The same thing happened in season 5 when the fatass (sorry, don't remember his name) takes his weed. His suspicions are now confirmed.

It doesn't matter that the ricin cigarette wasn't used to poison Brock. What matters now is that Jesse knows for a fact Walt had Saul steal the ricin cigarette from him, which essentially means Walt was the one behind the poisoning of Brock all along.

He just took the ricin cigarette to convince Jesse that Gus is the one who poisoned Brock. If the ricin isn't stolen, then there's no way Walt's plan to turn Jesse against Gus works.
Walt stealing the thing that DIDN'T poison the kid proves that he poisoned the kid? :wtf:

Walt tried to convince Jesse that it was Gus who had the ricin picked off Jesse in order to drive Jesse/Walt away from each other. Remember the scene with Jesse having the gun to Walt's head? That's when Walt convinced him that it was Gus who poisoned brock. This led to Jesse working with Walt to try and kill gus (the car bomb)

All Walt had to do was get the ricin out of Jesse's pockets to convince Jesse that Brock was poisoned with Ricin. Jesse found out it was Lily of the Valley after Gus had already died. Jesse realized it was Walt's scheme when Huell picked the weed of Jesse when he searched him, just like he had done with the ricin.

The doctor told Jesse it was Lily of the valley and that kids sometimes just eat the berries which are poisonous.

Just seems like a bit of a stretch.

Yeah... after Gus was dead. Which then made Jesse freak out and search his whole apartment for the ricin cigarette. Walt "helped" him look, actually producing it and saying he found it there. This then made Jesse not really think about it anymore... he just misplaced the cig and the kid ate some berries...

...until Huell took his weed when he was about to be disappeared, which is when he realized Walt set it all up and indeed did poison Brock, but with the plant rather than the ricin.

It also probably seemed like a giant coincidence that Brock got poisoned, which turned Jesse against Gus when Walt needed it the most. Jesse also knew that Walt was basically willing to do anything to have his way. It's a pretty huge connection to make but Jesse also knows that Walt is a scientist and could have used a plant that causes similar effects to ricin in order to convince Jesse. It makes sense to me that Jesse put it together once he realized that Huell was a pickpocket. That was Jesse's initial instinct.... that Walt had Huell pull the ricin cigarette off him. You can actually see it happen in the stills. His instincts were right.

So you freak the fcuk out because Walt "might" have done it?

Face facts. Jesse was an idiot. Throwing money away, snitching to Hank, getting Hank killed, etc.... All for what? Because Walt "probably" gave some kid a plant that doesn't kill him?

It's is pretty obvious. I don't know where you are in the series but Jesse already suspected Walt had Huel steal it. Walt did that to manipulate Jesse into helping him kill Gus.

Things happen later in the series which make Jesse realize that Walt did do it.

Jesse did some stupid things, but were his instincts not right on this? Walt indeed poisoned Brock. The fact is that Walt was willing to poison a kid to pin Jesse and Gus against each other, all for Walt's rise as a kingpin.

This thread isn't about the morality of poisoning a kid to gain an advantage in the drug world, but just about how Jesse was able to figure it out. Not sure what you're trying to argue here.

It was a bit convoluted.

All he had to do was figure out that Walt was lying to him. The only reason to lie was to cover up the situation. So once Jesse knew he lied about the situation, he knew Walt poisoned him.
