Does the dude that tweeted about the Clippers really say we lost depth?

Really? :facepalm

Losing Hedo Turkoglu, Ryan Hollins and Darren Collison, to be replaced with Jordan Farmar, Spencer Hawes and C.J. Wilcox is losing depth?

:facepalm

Yes

Explain to me how when they greatly upgraded up front, while a lateral change at the point and an upgrade as the third string SG

I don't know why this myth about the Warriors not being a good defensive team won't go away. Hell, they weren't just a good defensive team last year, they were elite.

^^ And an average offensive team at that. Hopefully Kerr can change that

Why do the Spurs always get the 2 seed behind OKC.

In b4 the Spurs go on an 18+ game win streak and win 60+ games and get the one seed.

Don't call them old, it hasn't worked in the last 5 years.

Yeah but wit every positive comes a negative

better offense = worse defense

Lol they barely got the first seed over OKC last year and OKC was without Westbrook for half the year and two starters for the other half

And we aren't done with free agent market yet either. Still waiting to see if we sign Bynum, oden, blatche or okafor.

if this truly is how the standings go, can we share the consensus that east=west?

Eh, if the defensive intensity stays the same and we run real offensive sets, I can see a top 5 defense and top 5-10 offense

Yes, because the 7th seed in the East will be around 49 wins!

I think Portland is getting a little overrated. Their major aquisitions this offseason were Steve Blake and Chris Kaman. Not horrible, but nothing amazing either.

Not to mention they lost Mo Williams.

Eh, at least they got a reliable post scorer off the bench in Kaman. I think they'll stay around the same unless Lillard improves

Pretty bad standings here

So they think the west is going to be weaker in every standing.. I don't see that happening..

The east is really going to start off very slow... Cavs will need time to gel... Chicago will need time to learn to play with rose again.. Miami has to learn to win without lebron...the rest of the east are average at best
To be honest I think the west could end up having more wins than last year

Also are we ignoring something important about the spurs?? The last 3 years they have improved every year.. Maybe they haven't peaked yet? The young players are still going to get better.. I don't think you can predict the spurs to get worse at this point..they are an improving team .

I've asked this before but every western team (except Houston ) thinks they are improved. This cannot be true

Yeah, we hide him on the weaker guard. But still, top 3 in the league defensively.

I'm not disagreeing with you, just stating why people think that. Their "best" player can't play defense.
