View Full Version : According to ISH logic, it s championship or bust for Miami next season

livinglegend

According to ISH:
Lebron turned 2 superstars ( wade and bosh) into spot up shooters and role players.

Lebron is an overrated choker, stat padder who disappear in big moments.

This year, Miami gain:
-2 superstars ( without lebron, Wade and bosh wont be spot up shooters and role players)

-great role players in Deng, McRoberts

Miami lost:
- an overrated choker, stat padder who disappear in big moments

- 2 role players in Wade and Bosh ( instead they are superstars)

Conclusion:

Next year, Miami should be better according to ISH.

Its simple, heat lost one all star (lebron) and added TWO (Deng, Granger)

Plus they added McRoberts for defence and rebounding

Can any objective poster explain to me why the heat arent championship or bust??

Don't forget that LeBron is allegedly a cancer who turned Bosh/Wade into spot up shooters, so now they can actually play like the superstars they are. This team is SUPER stacked.

Of course it is Championship or bust. We have a stacked roster and play in the weakest conference ever.

The only teams that remotely should be competitive are the Bulls, OKC, and Spurs.

No truly stacked team should fail to contend the following year simply by losing one player. If a team drops precipitously merely because it lost one player that provides that said team was not truly stacked. The Heat did not just lose one player and replace him with nothing; they replaced him with a 2x all-star who is 29 years old. They also shored up their depth by adding McRoberts, Granger and Napier. They lost LeBron, Allen and Battier; they added Deng, McRoberts, Granger and Napier.

Departing players

Allen: 10/3/2
Battier: 4/2/1
James: 27/7/6

Incoming players

Deng: 16/6/3 (19/7/4 as the #1 option in Chicago)
McRoberts: 9/5/4
Granger: 8/3/1
Napier: rookie

Deng's 2014 production alone exceeded what Allen/Battier combined produced. Moreover, in addition to the new players, some of LeBron's production will be made up for by Bosh and Wade increasing theirs. Bosh averaged 23 ppg from 2011-2014 whenever LeBron was out. He should post 22-24 ppg along with 8 boards next year.

The Heat won't win the title but they should, if they truly were stacked, remain legitimate contenders next year.

Good post and I agree with the majority of it. The Heat may not win the title but I do think they are legit contenders if everyone stays healthy.

the heat don't have 2 superstars going into 2014.

wade and bosh are both all stars at best

again, the heat were good to make the finals last year, but not good enough to win a chip. nuff said.

so going by sane logic, the heat are NOT expected to win a championship.

lebron and kevin love will be more devastating than wade and bosh. easy.

I was called an idiot and a bandwagon Heat fan by ISH for thinking that the Heat did not have the most stacked roster of all time just 2 months ago. Every time I even suggested that the Heat were a good--even championship squad but couldn't possibly be stacked because one player was dominating all relevant statistical categories, I was met with "your delusional, the Miami Heat have 3 superstars, and the deepest bench of all time...their 3rd option is a FMVP."

So I see no reason now because we lost that one player, that ISH should suddenly change to "the Heat suck." Especially when those same posters who said Miami was stacked, also said that Bosh and Wade would do better if they did not have to play "Lebron ball."

I have learn to accept the "stackness" of the Miami Heat...don't be foolish like me and suggest otherwise. The Heat are the most stacked team of all time, and just got better. Title number 4 incoming.

You really should just type out a "form" post, and start copying and pasting it every time you post. It'd save you a lot of time. Maybe re-word some sentences from time to time to, you know, keep it a little fresh, but you've essentially been doing this for two months now. This will just be more efficient.
