4 episodes in and I think it isn't bad. I hope what other people said are true... I've heard it gets really good 15-20 episodes.

Sadly I know the ending of the series, I looked it up out curiosity. The premise of the show was stupid.

Also realized last night, I do remember about the first 9 episodes watching. So I skimmed 5 other episodes.

The only characters I think are "cool" are Marshall and Lily.
So far, Barney doesn't seem that funny yet. Yes, the airport episode was funny but I've heard he gets better with time.
Robin reminds me way too much of an ex girlfriend. Brings up bad memories at times, a girl who can't commit etc.
Ted is just a hopeless romantic. It's a little annoying but at times downright funny how desperately he wants to be in love.

Overall from what I've seen, it isn't bad and Friends for me got really good halfway through the show. Also watching Rachel on screen always helped :cheers:, she became a bombshell by the end of the show. Got better looking after each season. Monica became a bombshell too but her personality was so annoying.

The first two seasons start off pretty good. But then they start repeating episodes and the plot gets mind numbingly bad.

I have been hearing that too from people. My friends said to expect to be sick of it by the 3rd or 4th season. After that, people only watched it to see who the mother will be.

Show isn't bad as far as network sitcoms go.

I'd say a 7/10

Has its pros and cons. But like others mentioned it gets repetitive with tons of filler.

favorite sitcom after scrubs. writing is pretty good. entertaining situations , characters and contast jokes. most are hit then miss.

Most people have told me in real life too to stop at season 3. But I also finished the Office when it got bad around Seasons 7-9.
