Isiah thomas is a 2 time champion and a 2 time FMVP. He got knocked out by the lakers in 1988 and the up and coming bulls in 1991

Lebron is also a 2 time champion and 2 time FMVP. He got knocked out by the aging Mavs and a aging spurs team.

Who would you rather have in the playoffs.

What's worse? Isiah failed his team with a broken ankle or lebron failed his team with cramps

Isaiah is quite a few tiers above LeBald imo. I'd choose him, no contest.

Who do you take?

Obviously the guy that is proven to stop JORDAN by taking not 1 but 2 rings from him in the ECF in 89 and 90 while Bron was 5 years old sucking on momma's titties!

I'd take the guy that scored 25 points in the 3rd quarter with a broken ankle.

They won't allow players in this era to play with broke ankles. Thank goodness we were around to watch basketball in its purest form before it became a league of floppers and fixed games!

You're a fcuking idiot. That injury permanently affected his body and career and he regrets it.

Laimbeer said the team would trade his leg for a championship.

you think isiah regrets playing in game 6 in 1988?

Isiah won't sit out with no AC i can tell u that

If he won the series he probably wouldn't regret it. "Sacrificing your body" is just an unintelligent thing to do. Unless a player is past their prime and it's their last shot to do something, playing on injuries just makes you worse in the future.

You know how much regret he would have if he actually called himself out of a finals game?

He played in an era that was "live for the moment", not this watered down version of ball you see today.

Agreed.

I can't imagine someone in the 80s asking the coach to take them out of the game with 8 minutes left, down by 5, in a finals game due to no AC

The guy who was the best player in the league... at least one year....

Bran feats: Stopped Dubeta/Haren/Chuckbrook trio and aging Spurs via Jesus shot from Ray Allen.

Isiah Thomas: Dominated with broken ankle, kept the GOAT ringless for a while, beat a top 5 team of all time.

I'm going with Isiah.
