They couldn't go with Steph. He was selected at #7 and the Knicks had the 8th pick.

If I could go back, I would definitely pick DeMar DeRozan.

Yes, oops my bad.

And YES I wanted them to draft Demar Derozan so bad. I almost broke my TV when we drafted Jordan hill.

Ty Lawson or Jeff Teague. One of those speedsters running that D'Antoni system would have been interesting.

Jennings wanted New York as well and the Knicks passed

After Jennings had that 55 point game Donnie Walsh flipped out on his scouts and fired some while demanding to know why no one mentioned that BJ could play.

I personally wanted Jennings that day

People like to criticize the guy but the fact is....even if Jennings was as inefficient as he was, he had value, you could trade him. Jordan Hill was an abomination as a rookie

Doesn't matter it was the Knicks so they would still suck.

Unless DeMar gets dealt in the trade.

I for once agree with this poster. Jennings was the flashy kind of player that Knick fans would have wanted. He was a question mark at the time and wasn't as surefire as Curry, but he was one of the top highschool players in the nation before.

This. The last time the Knicks were relevant was in the 90s and they still won nothing. :lol

Should have traded chandler and the pick to Washington to draft Rubin or stephenson. If they kept the pick should have gone with Lopez, Eric Gordon or Jennings. Passing on Jennings was especially idiotic because the whole reasoning was he reminded them of marbury

It was at most a 6 player draft. And Curry/Rubio was the guy.

Jennings would have been a reach but ultimately we reached on Hill at the same spot.

Hindsight 20/20... Jennings, Jrue.

Although we were weak at PG look at who was on that roster.... The dumb moves after that we could have taken any player.
