He's not at the top of the list..but Monta Ellis deserves a mention.

Over the past 7 seasons he's put up 21/4/5/2 on 53% TS, with 2 straight years of 25/4/6/2 on 53% TS...zero all star games.

He's not the best player to have missed out, but Larry Hughes had an all-star caliber year in 2004-05.

22.0 points
6.3 Reb
4.7 Assists
2.9 Steals

Led the league in steals.
NBA all-defensive 1st team.

It's safe to say he would have been a lock to make the all-star team at least once in his career, a tremendeous player. I think he truly is the greatest player to never make the all-star team, due to his fate.

Multiple 21+ PPG seasons, and was one of the most exciting players in the NBA prior to his knees giving out.

Unfortunately was stuck on some pretty awful teams, save that 07 team knocking off the 1st seeded Mavs.

Sabonis never made an allstar team, yet is in the HOF. Of course his HOF inclusion had a lot to do with his Euro-play, but still...

Any other HOF players who spent time in the NBA that never made an allstar team?

Jalen Rose was arguably the best player on a pretty good Finals team in 2000 so he's my pick.

From what I heared he was so angry that he didn't make it that he was going to leave back to Europe and was about to sign with PAO before he died.

IMO, its Jason Terry without question. Not saying Dirk did not deserve the 2011 Finals MVP, but Dallas as a team would not of won the series without Jet.

Lamar Odom at a close second.
