What about the time off he spends from not working out properly?

He'll get in shape before the season.

I'll actually be afraid to hear this if i was a pacers fan

20 ppg on 43% and a ball stopper would be the last thing I'd want

itel still be 6-8 weeks before he can walk. then rehab for a month to get anywhere near running/changing direction/leaping. then he'l need another 2-3 weeks of practice. then itel be another month of game time before he's anywhere near what he was last year.

its gonna be a while. don't expect him back till around christmas. and he won't be 100% till january

The f**k? Did you not read the OP? The doctor said he could be back in time for the playoffs if the Pacers make a deep run. That's mid to late May. Even if you didn't, the hell makes you think he'd be back by Christmas when every report since he injured himself said the recovery and return time from this type of an injury roughly one year?

Not buying it.

He's lucky to even return 70%.

it's easier to regain muscle than gain 'new' muscle. a couple months of training and he will be back to where he was.

For those of you who don't know Dr. Klapper, he is actually a very credible Physician for sports medicine. He even has his own radio show in LA.

If he says PG will be 100% then PG will really be 100%.

He was also the guy that said a year ago that Kobe would be ready for the season opener, Kobe barely could run and "jump" in december.

That's not the point. It's that how credible his sources are and how close he really is to the situation. He's a surgeon in LA, but the surgery was performed in Las Vegas. He's obviously a doctor and probably a very good one at that because he has his own radio show and knows people and even was on TWC last year, but he wasn't accurate when he said Kobe's 100% around August/September.

Maybe that was Kobe's fault for not working hard enough. :confusedshrug:

But that was my point, the word 100% is thrown out far too often. I doubt he will be actually 100% of the player he was until like 2 years from now.
