[QUOTE]The Toronto Raptors announced Wednesday their 2014-15 regular season schedule. The club will tip-off its 20th anniversary season in the National Basketball Association at Air Canada Centre on Wednesday, October 29 versus the Atlanta Hawks. This also marks the fifth time in the past six seasons and the 14th time in team history the club has started the regular season at home. Toronto

Hey Legends.. Nice analysis

My only immediate observation is they better start strong.

The first month has Okla / Memphis / Washington and Chicago but is mostly filled with Eastern Conference teams the Raptors need to beat to hit their ranking ... ie 45 or 50 wins and 3rd or better in the east.

March Looks brutal. On the road a fair amount and then the home games are no cakewalk based on "early observations" i.e. Cavs / Trialblazers / Bulls / Rockets

Raptors have to take advantage of this.

VANCOUVER — The Raptors beat the Kings 99-94 on Sunday at Rogers Arena.

...the Vancouver crowd elevated this to something a little more substantial than a typical pre-season game. With more than a few teal Mike Bibby Grizzlies jerseys dotting the sold-out Rogers Arena, the fans brought some noise, which probably helped the players get into the game.

Toronto will head to Sacramento in a rematch on Tuesday.

Nice post above...

Given the home game rest advantage compared to league... this stretch I think becomes critically important... early.

Toronto vs. Washington, 11/07/2014, 7:30 PM
Toronto vs. Philadelphia, 11/09/2014, 7:00 PM
Toronto vs. Orlando, 11/11/2014, 7:30 PM
Toronto vs. Chicago, 11/13/2014, 8:00 PM
Toronto vs. Utah, 11/15/2014, 7:30 PM
Toronto vs. Memphis, 11/19/2014, 7:30 PM
Toronto vs. Milwaukee, 11/21/2014, 7:30 PM

I mean a lot of us are projecting 50 wins... but in all honesty starting 6-12 should not be in the cards.

This Raptors team wont sneak up on anyone ; I don't think opponents will over look them towards next game.

Some of those OKLA / Houston wins may not be there so really Casey and crew need to make some hay early against these teams at home.

The whole league gets scouted the same way. You either win or lose.
