CHICAGO -- DeMarcus Cousins was injured in Thursday's USA Basketball workout when he was going for a loose ball.

The Sacramento Kings big man had to be helped off the court, favoring his right leg, and taken to a trainer's table to be examined. How serious his injury is has yet to be determined.

It sucks because the NBA season is what people watch. One key injury can determine what happens in a whole conference. In this case the Pacers were probably a top 4-5 team. Now they'll struggle to make the playoffs probably since Stephenson is gone and George is out of the whole season probably or near it.

DMC has already tweeted that hes fine. but as a precaution, he wont be playing in this weekends exhibition game againt brazil.
