IMO if you're going to put Magic at starting PG, I'd pick Bird over LeBron for SF. LeBron will probably surpass Bird by the time his career is done and over, but as of right now having LeBron and Magic both on there is redundant.

Lebron could spot up at the 3 point line when Magic has the ball. You guys are forgetting how lethal he has become from that range over the last 2 seasons.

I believe Barkely > Dirk, Magic > Stockton with LeBron already closing in on Bird, but this starting lineup meshes the cleanest, imo.

You got great spacing; shooting; playmaking. Dudes that are ELITE without the basketball. Great defense out on the perimeter AND in the paint.

I really don't see an inherent weakness except for maybe Dirk's rebounding (at his size) and his lack of defense.

I actually like the idea of putting Scottie (obviously an inferior player) in for Bird. I still have Stockton and Dirk for long-range with Jordan and Pippen making up for the mid-range. Plus I wouldn't have to worry about Bird's lack of touches (too many offensive or defensive guys can be an issue). These lists are all about who matches up the best.
