PG - Kobe Bryant ( main playmaker for 5 world title teams and can actually defend unlike magic, can actually score at will unlike magic johnson. and who needs a ball dominant play maker on a team full of isolation players )

SG - Michael Jordan ( arguable goat )

SF - Larry Bird ( goat SF )

PF - Bill Russell ( would play PF in todays game and would have been the best )

C - Wilt Chamberlain ( another arguable goat )

kareem had the greatest career as a center. but this is for peaks

duncan had the greatest career as a PF. but this is for peaks

Russell and Wilts rebounding and defense are unmatched down low. perfect combo because one is passive and the other is dominant offensively.

kobe/jordan/bird is the perfect perimeter. all clutch. all dominant. all know how to play with other great players and still get theirs. all great defensively. all great rebounders for their height.

the perfect team.

Kobe would play the D-Fish role on that team. Go shoot some corner 3's and let Jordan go to work.

kobe has 5 titles same as magic

and he didnt need 4-5 other hall of famers at a time to do it

just 1 for 3. and 0 for the next 2

kobe is the most successful all around PG in history.

Why not just put Kobe at SG? No need for MJ.

Huh? Jordan does everything Kobe can, but more efficiently.

PG: MJ
SG: Durant
SF: Pippen
PF: Lebron
C: David Robinson

I think that would be my idea of a perfect team.

MJ, Pippen, and Lebron are all capable playmakers, but Jordan would most likely be the one defending the opposing PG and would most likely have the ball in his hands the most.

Durant for his lights out shooting and his length. He's also an excellent fast break player.

Pippen for his versatility, unselfishness, and defensive leadership.

Lebron because he's so strong and versatile, him and Pippen would take turns locking down the opposing PF.

DRob over the likes of Hakeem/Shaq/Wilt simply because he's amazing in the open court/fast breaks and that's what this team would excel at. There would be so many steals and fast break opportunities, any shortcomings Drob has in terms of mental toughness would be made up for by how well he fits in with this team.

Against my team or his team?

Curry wouldn't be able to handle anybody on defense.

Duncan at center would get destroyed by either Shaq or Wilt.
