KD's legacy will be the one remembered by this generation. He will overtake LeBron as No: 1 and sit above all for a longer period. Will score more points in his career, and win more titles.

King James..?

Lebron was the best player in the league by age 24. Durant is about to turn 26 and is still #2 to lebron doe...

Currently being built my good man.

It won't take too much to outdo the one who will be remembered for jumping ship to stacked teams and validating his rings with "earned not given" t-shirts.

Yes. once durant finally wins his first championship and the pressure of winning one is all over I can see him ripping shit up. and the fact that a loyal scoring machine kicking ass in the west will over shadow lebrons BS is very refreshing

This isn't news. Pre-prime KD outplayed prime LeBron all season last year.

So basically what you are saying is that in 10 years KD will be a top 5 GOAT player?

So did Durant. sucks for Durant their primes pretty overlap, No.2 is the best KD will ever be. Basically he'll become the synonym of No.2, second, beta:(

Im sure most dumbass picked Robertson before Jordan started winning. Its the same for Durant.

No, closer to top 10, but top 5 is not out of the question. We all know that LeBron's entry into the top 10 became null and void when he gave up and left Cleveland.

He already has. :confusedshrug:

Every year that passes, LeBron will become less relevant. Rejoice NBA fans.

Depending on how Lebron plays in the next few years, I think what may happen is that KD will actually never get a chance to be the best player in the game.

In two years, who knows what Anthony Davis, D. Rose, Westbrook, or even someone like John Wall might be doing.

U mad?

All Durant needs is 1 ring tbh. He'd be firmly ahead of LeBald if he's not already in some peoples minds.

1 legit ring > multiple *'s anyday.

Many all time greats have had overlapping careers, some even on the same team.

And sometime there is a gap. Like the gap from MJ to KD.

Obviously, and your point is? My point is that greatness will always be recognized. Does Magic overshadow Kareem? Does Shaq overshadow Hakeem? Does Duncan overshadow Shaq? All 5 are considered top 10 players by most. Even if Durant goes on to have a top 10 caliber career it doesn't and won't overshadow LeBron's greatness.

These troll threads are making this site unbearable. Anyway, Durant is just not as good as Lebron bottom line. Lebron gets another championship or two with Cavs he is firmly planted as top 5 ever..

Well, he was mvp at 25 and bron was still on his best. It takes more to overtake someone as best. Not saying kd will be better, but he's got the potential. People say brons stats are sexy but kds are too. I think all of the jumping teams thing, especially leaving to only perfect casts, is gonna bite him. He thinks winning is all that matters, but in this era of transparency, people are going to remember he doesn't really like challenges.

I also have a feeling LeBrons role player movement and big three etc will die out soon, too.

Please... he's pretty weak minded. He called out Kawhi as being a product player and by winning Finals MVP. At least he doesn't pull up for a 3 for like every shot in the playoffs. If Durant played at MVP levels, they could have made the NBA finals.

Also is anyone going to teach this kid that he should lift and get bulkier. Abuse the post with that length and not just jack up threes. It's like T-Mac on repeat.
