not necessarily. MJ's footwork and post game dramatically improved after his first retirement.

then again, he is MJ, dat GOAT.

Footwork can always improve. BBall IQ I agree with to an extent, though some guys learn to play dumbly better, if that makes sense.

Dude's game is so ugly... everything he does looks so forced. There's nothing natural about anything he does on the floor except for bulldoze his way through defenders on fastbreaks.

Oh, almost forgot: 2/5

i think lebron's post up game outside of the paint is like 2/5 aka 40%, which is pretty bad, at least bad for him since he's main claim to being the best player is his FG%.

Shaq looked good and had good footwork to go along with his size.
He was very fluid for a guy such size

he sometimes ran the fastbreak when he was on the Magic. Was a beauty.

Man if Shaq had MJ's work ethic. Guy could have won 5+ championships.

if by footwork you mean forearm to the chest on his drop sets to the basket to clear his shot, totally agree! :D

Wait wtf. James has no reason to not be able to backdown 175 lbs Ellis. He's 100 lbs heavier than him.

Lebron's left handed hook/bank shot is $$$$$$$$$$ though. He hardly ever misses that shot.

trying not to run him mover/get a charge. LBJ can easily post Monta out the way like he was doing Tony Allen in this game

No it didn't. He had all the moves and post game pre-retirement, he just went into the post more after retirement.

LeBron's post game is actually pretty good. I remember one game against Indiana where he just abused Paul George in the post. I don't know how much he will post up anymore seeing that he has lost weight, but we'll see.
