The former Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers coach turned exec has dropped $4.85 million on a flashy Midtown apartment, just months after inking a deal to head up the New York team, public records show.

4.8 mill is plenty obviously but isn't that very reasonable for a man of Jackson's worth and considering the prices in NYC?

Google the $114 million house on sale in NYC. That mansion inside the heart of the city is ridiculous.

Also, I don't understand why people buy such expensive apartments in NYC. Could easily get an apartment in Brooklyn for that price that would probably be bigger and spacious. But maybe that's just me :confusedshrug:.

I just looked that up wow.. Not my taste but still wow. I like the screening room/movie theater....
