I doubt it. Very few people talk about how Jordan feasted on the great expansion era... they just remember him dominating. All the talk about how weak LeBron's competition is will probably never be more fervent than it is right now.

Jordan had to overcome Bird's Celtics and the Bad Boy Pistons to reach the Finals and play plenty of good teams...
LeBron is currently playing in one of the weakest conferences ever while the Western Conference is looking like one of the toughest conferences ever.
It's like we saw last year in the Finals, the East had to represent SOMEBODY that would just get smashed by whoever came out of the West.

Jordan didn't have to overcome Bird's Celtics. He never beat them, ever. He started winning after they were history. During the two three-peat eras, the NBA was actually pretty weak. I'm not taking anything away from MJ, he's the greatest... my point is that after the fact, people don't really talk much about how weak the competition was, they just look at the results and who won the most. Your nonsense about Bird just supported my point.
Oh and don't be ridiculous - the Spurs destroyed Miami, but if your Thunder had made it to the Finals to face the Heat they would have gotten SMASHED.

If (in before pauk joke) he does and loses and goes 2/6 that would crap on his legacy even more?

Just like they do for Magic Johnson right?

I can't imagine.
No matter the GOAT teams in the East, Bran manages to slay them all every year :applause:

The West during Magic's time was as weak if not weaker than the East now. So stop with that. No one complains about Magic's competition while he was playing with Kareem, but everyone complains about LeBron having Bosh and Wade.

Doubt it... Nobody even talks about Magic beating all 30 and 40 win teams on his road to the Finals in 2 Title runs... Or the fact that the West in the 90's was much better than Jordan's East.
Now, of course, you would love for this to be remembered as "weak competition" for LeBron... Sadly it wont.
They will remember his titles, probably 3-4, and his finals appearances... Which could reach about 10 in total... amazing.

For Jordan and Magic, they had a winning record against the other Conference in the Playoffs :oldlol:

2/6 coming up :oldlol:
Actually to be honest I think they could lose to Chicago or (gasp) Miami if the latter two are healthy and maybe make an addition at the deadline.

Just like no one remembers/cares about Jordan ending the Showtime era by beating a crippled Laker team with starters out with injuries, and no one remembers/cares about the 08 Celtics beating the Lakers without two of their starters, no one will remember Lebron's competition. They'll just see that he got to the finals five times in a row, and will rank him accordingly.

Worthy still played 4/5 games in the Finals and averaged almost 20 ppg, which was in line with his usual production.
James in for game 5 wasn't going to save the Lakers from getting beat, they were done after game 3 IMO.
Jordan was playing with a foot injury in the 91 Finals as well. He had to cut his shoe open and play with it like that because of the pain.
Pretty much sure everyone would remember Jordan being 2/5 in the NBA Finals and losing a Finals MVP to Dan Majerle or something :lol
