How won titles with very little help.

His best player got outplayed by Jason terry and kawhi in the span of four years. how many coaches won 2 titles in 4 years without a top 50 player?

I'm going to pretend the OP isn't a worthless troll and say we're about to find out how good he is...

The LeBronsexuals will have you believe he's the worst coach in the world and the LeBronhaters will have you believe that only Spo could have coached that team to a finals..

I think he's better than what most think, you don't get to the finals 4 years in a row on pure talent, it's a grind and hard to bring it night in and night out and the coach plays a huge part in that season after season success

Spo will probably end up a HOF coach.

4 straight finals and back to back chips will probably be enough, he may not make it right away but he will eventually.

Im not saying hes great but, he only had a team for 2 years before the big 3. You cant really expect him to accomplish much in that time frame especially as a rookie coach.

:facepalm

6th in defensive efficiency, with THAT roster. That's what he did.

And if you're going to discount what he accomplished with LeBron, make sure you discount anything a coach has ever done with a great player. Ever.

Ignoramus.

Spo is obviously a very good coach and is extremely well respected among his peers. That being said it's far too early to put him in the ranks of the all time greats. He may get there, as he can write his own ticket at this point and will be in the league for many years, but he's still developing.

Great coaches don't get absolutely obliterated in the finals.

What about coaches who get obliterated in the second round? Was Popovich not a great coach when his team got swept by Alvin Genry's Suns?

Um, Phil Jackson? Pat Riley? Both have been obliterated in the finals.

So the past 6 years don't count, including the 2 before the "big 3" in which he did and admirable job? I'll trust the opinion of other coaches, both current and former, who ALL think very highly of Spo.

Not to mention his current employer, who is a Hall of Fame coach himself.

Pat Riley thinks Spo is a good coach. And he possesses more acumen for coaching basketball, in his pinky finger, than your typical ISHiot like DukeDelonte13 does in their entire bodies.

I wonder who's opinion I should trust more? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Spo is criminally underrated. Yeah he's not the best, but he isnt the garbage you guys try to claim he is.
