Fukk them. Right in the pu$$y, too.
I'm not sitting here drinking with you while watching garbage ass preseason football to hear you bragging about your kids.
I mean, why the fukk do people think anyone cares what sports their kids play, or what their grades are like or who the fukk their favorite cartoon characters are?
If you're one of these people, fukk you, too.
Instant buzz kill. Went from feeling good to now needing shots just to feel anything anymore.

Theres nothing wrong with it. They probably truly love their kids and they are always on their mind. They probably cant help sharing what they think about with their friends/acquaintances. Once you have kids you will understand.

I have a daughter who is starting preschool tomorrow and already knows her ABC's, can count to 49 (always forgets 50), knows all the main colors, and can speak English really well while learning 2 other languages on the side.
I'm not bragging about her to anyone. I don't understand why I should bore someone with those details.
It's simply "oh, that's good," and then we move on. But some people don't stop. They HAVE to state every fukking minute detail and act like everyone ought to be just as impressed. No thanks.
Also, there are very few moments in a day where I don't think about my kid. She's my main priority. That doesn't mean I have to talk about her to everyone, especially while hanging out with another group of men and drinking + watching sports. Fukking dumb, imo.

I have an 18 month old daughter and I kind of agree with the OP. It makes me cringe when someone acts like their kid does something that has never been done before.
I don't like to brag about my daughter as if she's better than any other kid.

Stop bragging, man. I don't need to hear about your retarded kid.
It's not like I'm sitting here bragging about my 6 week old that can already write cursive, has just sat the bar exam and has a 12 inch schlong

But I do want to add, I do think every kid is special. They are the best gift God has given us as human beings. However, I just don't like acting as if my child is more special than any other child.

I got a 20 month old and I can still remember before I had him how much I hated people that just talked about their kids all day so I try to tone it down.
But on the real my boys picking up words nowadays so fast. Little man brings as mile to my face everyday
My 3 yr old son picks up waitresses and flight attendants. I win.
But seriously, i don't care if people brag as long as it's not excessive or never ending. People like to talk about their kids.
