FMVP and a ring (and probably will play career with Spurs and also be perceived as "loyal") vs a perennial playoff disappointment who bounced around the league.

Will "winner" vs "loser" labels and such rewrite their places in history, despite stats indicating Tmac was the superior player?

Nobody cares about Kawhi's FMVP. Just like very few care about Billups (who was a great player)

Tmac will be known as the better player assuming Kawhi doesnt get better obviously.

Eye test will show Tmac was clearly better.

Tmac better offensive player while Kawi is better defensivley.

People saying no one would care is dumb, it really depends on what Leonard does for the remainder of his career. Hes not even 25 or in his prime

Kawhi will be the Havlicek of this era.

Tmac in Toronto was a similar defensive player to Leonard. And he showed it at times in Orlando.

I imagine late Raptors Mcgrady on the spurs would be hell.

Will be interesting if Kawhi wins multiple FMVPs as the best of a bunch of 'system' players, and whether that will devalue the FMVP award in any way.

Only players to win multiple FMVPs are: Reed, Magic, Kareem, Bird, Jordan, Hakeem, Shaq, Duncan, Kobe, LeBron

If he putting up less than 20 points per game? Definitely. I mean people use Nash's two mvps to discount like 40 other people's legitimate ones. (Not saying Nash's were illegitimate per say but you get the point)

I'll take TMac on my team and on any team over Kawhi.

Kawahi's role next should be interesting. I assume the Spurs are going to have him shoulder an even larger offense role? Kind of like from TD to Parker in the late 2000s... More Parker to Leonard? If he can handle it, that will certainly allow the Spurs to rest even more than they do.

kawhi will be an all star and candidate dpoy (multiple times), then they will be closer to players at the end of the career of kawhi
