Great video. Makes you appreciate how skilled dude was in his prime.

Also cant help but think what Pau and Kobe could have done before Kobe exited his prime (ie. 2006 - 2007). Look at the pick and roll/pop @ 10:34 and 10:45 :applause:

Still can't believe the Lakers got a guy like that for Kwame Brown, Javaris Crittenton, Aaron McKie & the rights to Marc Gasol.

I remember the Lakers went like 24-5 since they got Gasol

Really was the key difference maker for that team :applause:

:applause: Phenomenal player. It's a shame he's no longer a Laker, but I'm glad that he went to a team that has the potential to contend. Be interesting to see how much he has left in the tank.

Kobe wasn't a starter until the 98-99 season which was strike shortened to 50 games. How is he considered past his prime after the 2006-07 season at age 28?

Love Pau and Kobe combo!

The Gasols are just flat out solid basketball players. They do the right things. Big Marc Gasol guy currently. Great player. Can do it all.

Kobe's prime was from 2003-2009. I meant that it would have been interesting to see Kobe/Pau during his peak, i.e. 2006 - 2007. We saw how they played together in 2008, but I believe Kobe was at his absolute best the 2 years prior.

I remember a month before this happened I hurt my dick in a biking accident. Couldn't get that shit up for weeks. Then this game happened, and my girl was walking bow-legged for the rest of the season.

Lakers were on a 50+ win pace before Bynum went down :confusedshrug:, 24-11 before Bynum went down, which is a 56 win pace, Lakers finished with 57 wins

Kobe's numbers that season doe, 28/6/5/2 on 46/36/84 shooting

So Bynum and Gasol were the most important Lakers?

Lakers went 30-16 before Pau...that's a 54 win pace...or what Miami won this last year.

They went 27-9 after Pau...that's a 62 win pace...or what San Antonio won this last year.

Pau essentially added 8 wins, taking a great team to a championship contending team...so pretty much what an All-Star PF should do..

He was a good pick up, but be real, the Lakers were the best in the West before they got him.

Pau in 09 was better than Dwight, Duncan, Dirk & Yao?

Yes.

No.

All those guys made all nba over him, no way was he better than Dirk, Duncan or 09 Dwight.

Pau isn't taking that Orlando team to a finals, let alone win a playoff game as the best player on a team.

Love Pau, great player, but he wasn't better than those guys.

Not really. The Lakers were first place in the west before the Pau trade.
