Srs what happened... claiming he's the best scorer in the world.
A few years ago, he said he didn't consider himself top 5 player and he had a lot to improve on.

I don't buy the "I'm so humble" act for the cameras.

I mean, you can be relatively humble, and gracious and give credit to teammates/coaches, but I'd think that all of the elite players deep down think they are the best.

Him saying a few years ago, "I'm not a top 5 player", I think was just an act.

He is the best scorer in the world anyway.

He's clearly the best scorer in the league. That's just a fact no cockiness

he's insecure after getting knocked out in the playoffs. So he's been really active trying to convince people he's the best. But we all know that real alphas don't tell people he's an alpha.

A few years ago he wasn't a top 5 player in the world and he did have alot to improve on. Today he is the best scorer in the world.

What's the problem? He's pretty much just stating the truth.

Kevin Durant says he's the best scorer in the league, people lose their shit.

James Harden says he's the best all-around player in the league, *crickets*

He tried filling the Duncan role. Then the next year he's leading the team in technicals.

This is the year Durant starts becoming the target of intense criticism... he might win another MVP (though LeBron will benefit from the storyline effect) but I would bet on another playoff exit as OKC's offensive is too rudimentary, the roster too top heavy, and Westbrook's style of play makes him vulnerable to injury. The main problem with the Thunder is Brooks, who is very good at the human side of coaching but not the basketball side. Real championship teams move the ball (and do so collectively, it's not up to just one player to do it)... even star-sudded teams like the Celtics and Heat.

The Thunder's stubborn reluctance to heed that advice from the past means that their current peak is as an "also-ran". They would have to fire the coach, or the coach to revise his approach, to get to the next level.

The hit on Durant's reputation, however, will only be temporary, as he definitely has what it takes to lead a team to the championship. Either the Thunder will make the necessary changes, or he'll move to another team and get the job done there at some point in his peak.

I don't think people care enough about Harden to give a crap about his delusions.

Best scorer in the world.

Best player in the world.

Best Durant in the world.

He's just stating facts. Nigha's always been humble, just like his fans.

But he is undeniably the best scorer in the league every day of the week.

Melo has the best offensvie game I think in terms of posting up/3 ball/mid range/inside scoring etc. but Durant is undeniably the best in terms of volume/efficiency.

Jesus christ why do people have to be so pc nowadays. Grow a pair, the league is already softer than 1 ply tiolet paper.

:roll:To be fair Duncan got great mentors in Pop and the Admiral, KD got quite possibly the 2nd worst coach in the league behind McHale.
