DPOY, especially if I were a guard.

DPOY. No one cares about rebounds.

55 rebounds, all offensive, off my own misses.

DPOY, especially if I were a guard.

But imagine a guard getting 55 rebounds!

Before they're brought up, I'd take...

101 pts or 18 blocks or 56 rebounds or 31 assists or 12 steals over any respective award.

As others have brought up, tons of players have won MVP, DPOY, etc, but only one player would hold those records. Certain amount of distinction there. And if we care about money, Larry Kenon may have been the worst player to hold any major stat record. And he was still an All Star. Kendall Gill was not an All-Star, but was a great player in his own right with a long career. Both made money.

DPOTY is an even more bogus award than mvp. it is given less thought than most improved player or 6th man of the year.

voters mostly just look at whos the rebounding leader than has a good amount of blocks. they almost never consider wing players because then theyed actually have to watch all the games

I'll take 55 boards over an award that no one really remembers.

I didn't even know Marc Gasol won the award last season. We've got names like Mark Eaton and Marcus Camby here.

one is an award, the other is a stat that affects a game. you figure it out.

Guard? 55 rebounds
Reason: Plenty of guards have won DPOY.. not really that impressive.

By plenty you mean 4?

By plenty you mean 4?
:oldlol: And not a single one since 1996 when the Glove did it. What is he talking about?
