Who are the best Fantasy players for the upcoming year and potential steals?

Doing my research now, heres my top 5, standard 9 cat

1) Durant
2) Davis
3) Lebron
4) Chris Paul
5) Curry

Steals (best value for their pick)

1) Kobe
2) Rose
3) Stephenson
4) Antetokounmpo
5) Wiggins

i feel rubio will return 2nd round value for someone whos picked in the 3rd or 4th round.

payton can be a pleasant surprise too. 7 assists, 1.5 steals. 3+ boards. 10+ points?

Things differ whether you're talking H2H scoring or roto.

I only play H2H, and Rubio loses a lot of value in that format.

Your top 5 I more or less agree with. Curry is the only questionable one, but there are not really many better options out there.

As for sleepers/value picks, I'd consider....
Kobe - though his name may have him drafted too early to be considered value
Rose - Same as above
Stephenson - Love the set up for him this year
Lawson - Always slept on
Gallo - If healthy
Pek - His numbers, without Love, are pretty high, iirc
Lin - I'm a huge fan of him as a fantasy player this year
Deron - The hate for him is out of control. His numbers last year were atrocious for him, and still good for an average starting PG. Now take out some of the mouths to feed, and watch his PPG climb around 20 again
Calderon - Really like the fit, always solid, always underappreciated
