Hey look! A prediction based username that actually worked out. Well done.

There's a Lakerschamps2012 or some name like that who everytime I see him post, it just makes me cringe knowing what a disaster the 2012 Lakers were.

Wilt averaged 50.4 ppg on a .506 eFG% in an NBA that shot an eFG% of .426.

He also averaged 44.8 ppg on a .528 FG%, in an NBA that shot an eFG% of .441; 33.5 ppg on a .540 eFG% in a league that shot .433; and 24.1 ppg on a .683 eFG% in a league that shot .441.

By contrast, in David Robinson's highest scoring season, he averaged 29.8 ppg on a .507 eFG%, in an NBA that had an eFG% of .485.

And in Hakeem's highest scoring season, he averaged 27.8 ppg on a .516 eFG%, in a league that had an eFG% of .500.

Great post... and once you get to a certain point, the more shots you shoot, the less your FG% will be..

Wilt shot 40 times per game back then, yet he still shot as well as the centers you listed while never missing even one minute of game action and never fouling out.

Wilt's the goat scorer... Hakeem and Shaq aren't doing any BETTER than 50ppg and 25 rebs or whatever... they'd either match that or much more likely, do worse.

Wilt's physique was better suited for scoring at that pace - he was the biggest (bigger than Shaq) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bU43dTuMuig), easily the longest (9'6" standing reach), and the lightest on his feet - i don't think Shaq or Hakeem would have had Wilt's stamina or sheer ability to just dominate for 48 minutes and 40 shots a game.

Jerkoffs who wouldn't be a bench-warmer on their shitty ass HS team keep crapping on all-time greats. I got news for you, that huge void y'all feel deep down is never going away no matter how much you hate on somebody else's accomplishments.
