A guy who has proven valuable in playoffs past, 31 years old and playing well for his national team in FIBA.

I would feel more comfortable having this proven commodity off the bench than a hit or miss Moore...
Oh, he can hit 39% from 3 too...

Isn't he redundant with Snell though? Snell plays good Defense and can hit 3's at around a 38-40% clip.

Bulls seem to be looking at/for a combo guard here...
Snell cannot play PG, Barbosa can.

Barbosa is not needed with the Bulls roster depth and overall talent

It appears its between Heat and Bulls. Heat could use him more but who knows what Barbosa is up to at this point in his career.
He wanted to put on a good showing in the USA/Brazil game for NBA teams so he can get a contract and I'd say he accomplished that.
Still super crafty and can get a shot up against top talent. Good vet still on the right team.

Snell and Barbosa are nothing alike. :biggums:
One's a quick combo guard better suited on offense, but not bad on D. The other's a lockdown wing defender who's offensive game is limited to stand-still threes at the moment.

I wouldn't say Snell is a lock down defender or limited to stand still threes.
He should become a lockdown defender with his length at the 2 and with Thibs teaching him. He has nice handles although they are shaky AF, but from time to time he will drive and go to the hole.
