Kyrie's effort level looks like it has increased dramatically on the defensive end judging by the world exhibition games. It isn't unusual for incredibly talented offensive players to be liabilities defensively for their first few years in the league, especially guys that come in that young.

I don't think he'll ever be Gary Payton out there, but if he continues with the effort level alone, he will cease being a liability. All about effort.

Dragic is better than all these guys on the defensive end.

On topic though its probably Harden.

I wonder if the coaches tell them to rest on defense so they will have energy for offense.

I don't think it takes Harden too much energy to chuck up 3's and barrel into the lane and flop on contact.

Harden and its not close. Lillard just needs to learn how to work over and damn pick and he will be fine.

As shitty as Harden is, I'd trust him to guard a SF/PF in the post more than someone like Kyrie Irving who is equally as bad at perimeter defense.

So that has to count for something, I guess... :lol

Well yeah, a wing player should be able to guard forwards better than a point guard ::banghead:

No shit, I'm just saying Harden has actually had mild defensive success in the post vs guys like David Lee, so maybe vs a team like OKC who starts Perkins, you can hide him on Perkins or whatever, if push comes to shove.

The main reason I'd have Kyrie below Harden is because he's just as bad at perimeter defense but provides no defensive value anywhere else.

Both are 1 and 2 on this list though, no doubt.

:lol at Dragic not being a star player.
He was better than Irving, Lillard, or Parker last year.

And he's definitely a better defender than anyone in that group.

Yeah I think he meant popularity-wise. Obviously Dragic is a top 3 PG, personally I think he was the best last season. He's a seriously strong dude too.

Lol at calling Dragic a bad defender.

Must have been looking at his skin color or something and making a racist generalization.
