How Do You Change a Thread Title?

I made a thread regarding the shootings in Missouri. I admittedly made a poor choice of what to name the thread.

I'd appreciate if a mod could just delete the "When Is It OK To Kill a Black Man" thread. It's turned into a troll fest and not remotely the productive conversation I meant it to be. My own fault for choosing a title that would attract negativity and trolling.

I wanted to change the name of the thread to "DELETE" but I actually don't know how to edit thread names.

I learned how to change the thread title, but I unfortunately had already deleted my original post.

I guess it doesn't really matter. The point I was making seems to already be agreed upon by most posters. It doesn't seem like there is actually any debate here regarding the situation with the man with the knife who was killed by 2 police officers.

My point apparently wasn't necessary to begin with.
