I think rebound wise, they're equal. Offense wise they're equal too. But Pek murks Love on defense it's not even fair.

I'll trade Loev for Pek if I were a GM. Fits better on teams that need defense and toughness.

I think people here don't understand what effect Pekovic has when he's on the floor. We're talking about probably the strongest player in NBA at the moment and he also has great low post game so it's impossible to stop him one on one. That leaves double teaming as only option and that gives his team huge advantage (but Wolves didn't know to use it).

If his teammates passed him to ball more he could have easely have more ppg but still in the games I watched he was more valuable to his team than Love who is very overrated player and not even close to best PF in the game (Dirk is).

Pekovic is far more efficient offensively. It depends what you want I guess. Pekovic is the best post player in league scoring wise. He could be the 1st option on some teams. It all depends whether he stays healthy or not. His defense is alright one on one but he can't rotate fast enough to catch driving guards a lot of the time. He's a solid rebounder and he can even hit free throws which is a huge plus for a power center.

I think I'd rather have Pekovic to be honest. Centers are greatly diminished with the way the game is today.

But it's not hard at all to find a 6-9 guy that stands behind the 3 point line, and that other than that, can just run the floor and crash the boards.......there are tons of guys like that in Europe.

Neither one of them can play any defense at all, although at least Pekovic tries on his man in the post. Love does not even try to play defense.

Pekovic is a weapon in pick and roll, and also in low post. So if you gave him a great point guard (not Rubio), he could do more damage than he does now on offense.

Was dubeta banned? I know xrings was a few days ago, but I'm not sure about dubeta. Though they played off each other a ton, so if you get rid of one, it ruins the entire schtick.
