Vince Carter gave up his all-star spot for TOSB MJ... Since it was MJ's last year as a player, the NBA threw a show in his honor and had prime Mariah Carey perform in a wizards MJ jersey dress, it was all set up for Michael to have his last hurrah. He hit the go-ahead basket with 4.8 seconds remaining over Shawn Marion, East up by 2 points. Kobe on the other end draws a foul on Jermaine O'Neal, West spank the East in 2nd Overtime

one of the most entertaining ASGs I've seen, full highlights in great quality

Woaaah WHAT a fadeaway by Michael there!
Sucks that Kobe choked at the line. Could have won it for the west there if not for that clank:applause:

back when there weren't a bunch of pvssies playing the game.

Now the NBA would probably end it before even letting it go to 2 OT's

That Jordan shot over Marion was sick. Marion was an athletic beast during that time and old Jordan (just barely) avoided getting blocked. Any other guard would have gotten his shot blocked by Marion that instance. :lol

Is that like when Kobe spoiled Paul Pierce's big night in Game 6 of the 2008 NBA Finals by outscoring him 22 to 17.

(Final score: Celtics 131 Lakers 92)

it was such a scripted night. From the vince being pressured into coming off the bench even though by then jordan wasnt even popular anymore or deserving of an allstar spot.

then the fact that he forced 30 shots to get 20 points. It all just felt so forced. Then kobe said "**** the script.. here ya go Kg"

its funny to me that kobe without even playing gets voted into the starting lineup. But mj couldnt make it playing every single game

You're seriously comparing 42 year old broken knees MJ to a young and in his athletic prime Kobe? :facepalm

I bet you I can ball up current Jerry West right now, doesn't mean I'm the better baller when comparing me and prime Jerry West, can't that logic sink into your thick head?

Prime MJ >>> Prime Kobe

Deal with it and move on.

Was that the year Garnett and Duncan dominated?
